Fighting off Demons
The closer I feel I get to God, to doing right, and to killing these weeds in my heart, the harder I feel these demons inside me fight to stay alive. I see the light I need to run for, but darkness is closing in all around me so fast. I know I need to run, to run with every fiber I have toward Him, but this darkness just makes me want to sleep forever…

I was just wondering if you knew. It is a favorite of mine. I have known the story and always been sort of heartbroken.
